A little about me: As an athlete, I know first hand the importance of massage in sports. I'm a bicyclist and body builder and have not had an injury because of massage therapy in my weekly regimen.
As a business owner, I know the stress related to networking, traveling, communicating, and keeping competitive in todays business environment. This stress on the body is far more damaging if not treated at least monthly with some type of massage therapy.
When lactic acid is moved out of sore muscles through massage, muscles heal and reactivate so they can do productive work again (potential energy). Your body is then in alignment and therefore, less likely to have an injury that reoccurs from stability issues.
A little about me: After leaving the corporate world over 19 years ago, I knew that helping people feel stress free and healthy was what I wanted to do. For years I worked in spas, all the time building up my client base. Many of my clients express that they will not receive massage from anyone else and will go without massage until I am available, which I am proud of, but always encourage clients to still get massage on business trips or if they can't get to my location, and we will work together upon their return.
Education: I also carry a BS in Healthcare Management from NYU. MS in Healthcare administration.
